Quite right too. Outrageous that Cardiff players ripped into Norwich players for scoring a goal perfectly legal within the rules of the game.

In fairness I did witness Marshall frowning at the ref.

Yes, quite correct. Delia and Vince Tan should have run onto the pitch to break it up.Their excuses do not hold water.

Delia said she was waiting for her souffle to rise, and Vince said his trousers were up too high to run.

I can see big trouble ahead because of this - maybe even a ban on emotions amongst the players involved. <doh>

Not quite sure why either team has been charged tbh. Nothing really happened between the players, bit of mouthing off but no worse then happens every week. Should of just put the whole saga to bed.

I can see a 10 point deduction for both sides coming up to give Palace and Sunderland a chance.

    Thaicanary!
I blame you for this. You couldn't just sweep it under the goalmouth you just had to keep it going. Now we will all be sent to bed with no supper. :frown:

    <laugh> Well, why not <ok>

This decision stinks to be frank. The referee created this situation and it appears has squirmed his way out of it. I would hope, but not actually that hopeful, whoever sits in on the hearing will actually watch what happened, and if they do go ahead and issue a fine, and I am sure they will, they will take in to account the actions of the referee and the part he played, and make the fine a token gesture.

No he didn't - Fer did. His unsporting decision to roll the ball into our empty net started the whole on-pitch flareup.

How can you possibly blame him when it was clearly your player that set it all off - nothing to do with the ref's decision afterwards. Get off his back for Christ's sake.

Sparky, do you know the rules of the game?

By the rules of the game - it was a legitimate goal, even Graham Poll has come out this week and stated this. You can read it here my good man <ok>

I suspect you are mixing things up with the 'sportsmanship' element, which isn't covered by the laws of the game.

Now I can understand why Cardiff were upset, it would not be a great way to win a game and an even ****tier way to lose one, if that had been what eventually happened - BUT - the only person that broke the rules of the game, was the referee by disallowing the goal without a reason - and that is why the Norwich players got upset.

Now way can you say the referee did not instigate the 'handbags' between the players.

....Sparky, you might want to read this too - he has been demoted because of his actions, and rightly so <ok>

Two things cheer me up about the way Thai goes on about this.

    1. He is obviously gutted that the goal didn't count
    2. He is obviously gutted the goal didn't count and win Norwich the game.

Hard to believe someone could rant on so much about something that should never have been to start with.

So it was a legitimate goal, so what, it was gotten by foul means, is that what Norwich is about.

A spokesman for the PGMOL, the body which governs match officials, insisted the pair had not been dropped over the high-profile incidents and that the appointments were simply a matter of rotating referees.

    Was he now?

Thai - not talking about the laws of the game so please don't lecture me.

You said in relation to this FA charge, and I quote : - "The referee created this situation" when he clearly did not. It was you unsporting player's action in rolling the ball into our net that did.

Stop trying to lump the on-pitch fracas between the two sets of players onto the ref - he did NOT "create this situation" at all. His decision, right or wrong, makes no difference to what went on before. You are out of order blaming the ref for the flare-up - get it?
