A host of Premier League clubs are tracking Grasshopper full-back Bruno Bertucci, Sky Sports understands.

The Brazilian left-back moved to Switzerland in 2011, joining the Zurich club from Corinthians.

The 21-year-old has impressed over the past nine months after becoming first choice at the Stadion Letzigrund.

Sky Sports understands the likes of Aston Villa, Bolton, Sunderland, Newcastle, Queens Park Rangers and Stoke are all keeping tabs on his situation.
    Keen interest

Clubs from Germany and France are also known to be tracking the South American, who has two years left on his current deal.

Bertucci's British representative Chris Nathaniel confirmed interest in his client was high.

"Bruno has performed at a very high level since moving to Europe, and this has not gone unnoticed," Nathaniel told Sky Sports.

"We know of a number of clubs throughout Europe, but particularly England, who are taking a keen interest."

Thought we were ok for left backs atm... any chance of a decent goalkeeper, attacking mid or striker maybe?

Bruno Brookes or a pint of Peroni would also have been preferable.
