As we are at a loose end for a couple of days I thought I’d share a snapshot or two from a programme I found from one of my earliest away trips I know that man on the cover from somewhere too
Unfortunately there were no words of wisdom from the home team manager so they printed this on his page instead
A day out trout fishing on the weekend, and the other day in my veg plot / working at my daughter's farm.
Planned a bit of antique hunting, but passed experience means that once I look in a mirror, the hunt is over
We'll spotted. Would be nice just to have 4 teams in the national leagues now. Might happen next season.
Yes indeed. The long awaited return of Wrexham would be great. I've been following their progress this season and they seem to stutter in the big games. I really hope they make it, but I think if they do, it'll be via the playoffs. Good luck to them.
Blueturks table also shows the extreme variations in fortune of the clubs; 3 now in the Premier League 8 no longer in the top four flights.
That was a great season. Promoted. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1987–88_Cardiff_City_F.C._season Mind you for the big table topping match look at the attendance https://www.11v11.com/matches/cardiff-city-v-wolverhampton-wanderers-05-september-1987-49799/
I was at that game. Id not long finished school and started work. Went up on the Adar Glas bus. Think it finished 1 1. Alan Judge was on loan in goal. We got promoted and a mad end of season away day at Burnley.
It was the season of this fantastic night out at the old Wretch Field with this quality goal. I’m somewhere behind the goal
Terry Boyle actually gave me a guided tour around my new school on my first day ....llanelli Boys Grammar school . Even though he was from the dark side of town (Morfa) ....sworn enemies
