Especially if Larsson goes back to right wing and Johnson on the left with Gardener and Vaughan in the middle. Would have liekd to see Connor get a good run out but I also want to win the game.
I'd have been more confident if Wickham had played. I'm sick of seeing the same formation week in week out with nobody ever in the box to get on the end of crosses! This game would have been ideal to see if Connor and Fletch can gel!
Cant say I'm not in agreement with that sentiment. Still, I think MoN at least wants to win these cup games which is a great change from recent years.
If we really want to win the game we should have played Whickham and Fletcher, this is too defensive and really Fletcher could have been rested as well.
Still one upfront. If I were Wickham, I'd put the request in today & we'll get nowt nigh the £8m we paid. He's such a stubborn **** Marty. I remember Reidy being the same. If he doesn't rate Wickham he might as well sell the youngun as he's just rotting away here like. If we win of course I'll be happy but I feel for young Connor.
^^^ Fully agree with this. The sad thing is if he doesn't rate Wickham then none of the other young lads stand a chance as he is be far out biggest talent.
