I'm well aware I am an effing misery these days, whenever I comment on Leeds, but.... am I the only one who has to grit his/her teeth even to read the Official LUFC site these days? I used to be checking it all the time for updates, now all I expect is the occasional obligatory "interview" with NW and the occasional player waffle, plus a pile of spin to set our expectations at a suitably low level (no danger there, LUFC, mine are already rock bottom As a result I have to force my self to click on the bookmark to even go there. But when I did go there this morning there was at least a full and comprehensive update for the fans on where we were with the current takeover.......not.
Simple solution, I don't go near it. If any news breaks we eill likely hear it before its on the official site anyway
It's not all bad... I always have to check incase there's another exciting announcement about Flamingo Land.
Seriously what are you expecting from them when we have no games? Although I do agree its a poor site they dont have much to say football wise atm do they
I have been known to have a rant about the Official Site before it does my head in Spelling mistakes Peoples names wrong no player photographs Proper micky mouse stuff to be honest its not hard to get it right.
It's all the bloody advertising that does my head in. At one stage 2 seasons ago the news page could only squeeze 5 article headlines in amongst all the bloody flashing adverts. Supposed to be an info site for fans, not a selling opportunity! Suspect it might be the same everywhere these days, right enough .....
Some of the club bods on Twitter have been making noises about getting a new layout and design for the site, so hopefully it will change for the better soon enough. It's still better than 90% of the generic **** sites other Championship clubs have, mind.
+1 on that, most over sites are terrible, if you think ours is bad scout around a few others - I just checked three at random - leicester city, nottingham forest, stoke city, all the same.
Very true, this generic format they've rolled out across must clubs is bloody appalling, I've given up on ours now.
Didn't realise Hull's was another, I just took a look at the source code, whatever company has the contract needs shooting:
