Whats that all about? I've got the old behaviour policy sign in my house. My (west Ham supporting) mate was working at the school (as in school end) and saved loads of signs for me when the goons were replacing everything with the new crest. The behaviour one only mentions racial and abusive chanting - bad luck chelsea.
They wont do anything unless its racist or anti gay. If they banned everyone for calling Terry a pikey chav then the ground would be empty for Wolves. Basically the scum have put pressure on us to not chant anything as they know their fans will respond with racist chants.
Dead right, all they'll be interested in is racist / homophobic chanting which nobody wants anyway. Personally I think all this hype and statements actually creates tension. People are now going to go along looking for anything that could kick it off and waiting for it to happen. All they have succeeded in doing is putting people off going....just look at the tickets sales. They'd have been better off with a bland statement allong the lines of we 'We at QPR understand that this is a passionate encounter with added significance for a number of reasons. However we have a loyal fan base that conduct themselves with integrity on a weekly basis and despite media reports we have confidence there will not be an issue and will be making no further comment.' Take the sting out of it whilst acknowledging the tension and put the onus on self moderation much like this board rather than hyping it all up. Job in the media department anyone?
