ALL I SHALL SAY ON THIS IS THIS. TO THOSE NEG HEADS WHO SAY HULL CITY WILL STRUGGLE ANSWER THIS QUESTION ? what league do they think we are in and who are we going to be playing ? if anyone says Leicester City then they know nowt about football. they are signing rubbish full stop.

NB. Told on good authority that Adam Pearson pulled the plug on Neil Danns as he was not good value for money. I agree. Danns is never a 10k a week player nevermind 15k.!! well done adam. dufferman take note.

Not sure I buy that if I'm honest, tickler. AP must have known roughly the demands of the player probably months ago yet he was so vociferous in saying he was the top summer target so unless danns really did get very unreasonable, AP had to believe he was going to get him.

To say Leicester are signing rubbish is actually Rubbish itself. Schmeichel, Danns, Peltier and Mackail Smith if he signs will all add to what is a pretty good squad that they already have and i doubt they will stop there!

So who thought it was a good idea to sign Danns, NP? he's only the football manager, what would he know about footballers and value for money deals. Perhaps he should just put the cones out at cott and leave the real football management to Adam.

With our management's (normal) reticence, I wonder if the "Danns" sounding-off by AP was a diversionary tactic: Whilst everyone thinks we're after him (and it would poss. be OK if we'd got him), we're actually quietly after more reasonable targets....:emoticon-0103-cool:

I think we knew what Danns was on at Palace and probably offered him more to come to us, but then when the demand for his services increased, so did the wage he was looking for. Nothing wrong with that, we're not going to pay anyone £15-20k a week at the moment, so if the demands go beyond that we'll walk away.
