While our home form is exceptional, with the exception of a fantastic result versus a disjointed Spurs, our away form has been pretty average. Sure we stuck in a decent performance against City & a decent half against Chelsea but we still lost both games. So, stoke represents something of a reality check for us imo.....win ugly is good. Win handsomely is much better and may prove to be a tipping point in our season, having travelled to all of the toughest venues. Obviously Old Trafford doesn't count these days Draw or Lose and while all is not over, it will point to a relatively fragile challenge for a top four spot. Have to say, am pretty nervous for this game, more so than for the City & Chelsea games where I expected nothing.......and while we got nothing in terms of points, the performances raised my level of expectation and hope......really can't wait to see the outcome of this game!
more confident than in recent years of going there, at least they have a manager now who tries to play football and not rugby. be a good test for them as well as they have adapted to a dif playing style see how they match up now days. bit gutted Pullis has gone to palace as i would like them to stay in the prem but i cant stand the ****ing anti christ of football pullis, so sadly they got to go down. hopefully they havent clicked yet and we can get a result before they start playing some good football. go for a 2-1 to us.
Echo. If we can't beat stoke it will make top 4 look awkward. Prior to kick off we will likely be in 6th. Ending the weekend there would be a huge morale blow... even if the top of the league is closer than kate moss's two arm pits.

Bloody Stoke. They proper did us last year and they've looked decent at times this year. These types of games are a must win for us but it could be difficult. I can see all results but I'm pleased Huth is out. I'll go 1-2 Liverpool.
