If you're expecting a tricky game due to the lack of Sturridge, I wouldn't be too worried! Honestly, most of our lot would be happy if we just prevented Suarez getting his customary hat trick, and keeping the score under 5. Whilst we were reasonably tight at the back last season (except against you guys), and scored few, this season we can't attack with any kind of fluency, and are leaky at the back too. Honestly, Fulham are perhaps the only team at the moment easier to play than us! Having said all that, sometimes we look very close to clicking and having an excellent game, and after recent seasons we certainly deserve one against you! Hooper looks like he's starting to find his feet and hoolahan looked closer to his best against Palace, and the clean sheet was a bonus too. We'll see!
Let's be honest, our season is now over, we lost a whole three points away from home and we're now only fourth after one third of the season gone, and unfortunately we have Norwich and West Ham next at home, which isn't the ideal pair of fixtures to bounce back with. We're now only 8 points better off than the same time last season. Going by equivalent fixtures, the Hull loss replaces last year's away draw to Reading, so we are now only 3 points better off than last year by fixture. We now officially cannot have a 100 point season #****ingdoomed
