F1 teams have agreed to carry out two weeks of pre-season testing at The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Spain. Last time out we had a range of regulation changes, cars subsequently underwent major revamps, teams and drivers had to "up their game" so to speak. This year there are no such changes, however we will see the introduction of some scaffolding above the driver cockpit (called a Halo), and the loss of the shark-fins and T-wings (an aerodynamic flap and clothes hanger shaped additions to the bodywork). The super hards are the 2017 hards, right? In a slap in the face to puerile punnery, I don't think Pirelli expect to need them all season. They're just a backup in case other tyres get a bit explodey again.
