He might be a toon fan but forgetting that I would have him at Newcastle. Might not be prolific but will get you goals. I'd take him right now definitely. We are screaming for another striker.

DG has twelve goals last season which I think is the same as a certain Steven Fletcher. Give him a chance before you judge him ffs.
Show me any interviews where Fletcher slagged Sunderland off mate? Danny Graham coming here will spell the beginning of the end for Mon imo and I find that completely and utterly depressing. Just wait till he cries off in the derby game, or worse still ****s up a goal so he doesn't score against his boyhood club and watch the fans turn on him. Mon will protect him and the crowd will turn on him too. This black-and-white twat certainly will NOT be getting my support at all. Lee Clark did and **** on every single one of us. I'll support him, but he'll need to score 15+ goals for 5 seasons straight (and score a hatrick against that lot) before ill be happy about it lol. He better clear the air about his views on our club at his first press conference.
If already has said what his true feelings are and any measley, cowardly back tracking now will make the situation worse for me. I'd sooner he just ****ed off and didn't soil our club with his dirty barcode presence.

Cest if you were asked the same questions that DG was you would have said something similar, they are just words said in jest mate. Any player who pulls on red and white and puts effort in on a Saturday afternoon will get my support.
Cant say im too pleased about this signing meself as i used to work with his neighbour and she said he was a mag thru and thru and this was at the time her son signed pro forms at watford and he told her he would keep an eye on him. Lads. If I was ever interviewed and asked what I thought of noocarsel I'd be extremely rude and disrespectful towards them as I detest that football club. Then again, if they then wanted to sign me I'd fully expect their fans to give me dogs abuse and be up in arms about it too. Its only my thoughts and if the rest of the Sunderland fans want to welcome him and his true feelings about us they can do, just dont expect me to join in the celebrations. When his 'Lee Clark' moment comes and it will , I wont say told you so, I'll be too depressed to react. This is a huge low point for me as I wanted O'Neill to prosper here not fall on his sword in this completely avoidable fashion. Us signing black and white bastards just doesnt work. Why cant we learn. Its a blow without a doubt.
Re (b) - what he did was showed his allegiance to a club he supported - he didn't slag us off, he simply said Sunderland would be the last club he'd support as he's a black and white - I have no problem as any of us would say the same - is Martin O'Neill asking him to Support Sunderland or play for us? I agree he's average but if he signs I will back him 100% as it is detriment not only to him but to Sunderland if we get on his back for the fact that he is a geordie - Where's NMG by the way - his comments on here will be worth the signing alone!!
