Big game at the Emirates next Saturday!!

Arsenal are on a poor run of form with just 1 point from nine. There will be a billboard erected nearby the stadium to protest at the running of the club. New players are in, but the International Break means time to gel will be minimal.

Swansea, the new boys, have drawn their last 2 matches. They built their reputation last year on playing fast-paced attacking football on the ground, scoring good goals.

This has all the ingredients to go any which way. Arsenal could trounce the Swans, or be an absolute shambles and get humiliated.

    Probable Arsenal Lineup:

    .................Chesney
    Sagna Vermaelen Mertesacker Santos
    .................Frimpong
    ............Wilshere Arteta
    ........Walcott RvP Arshavin

What are your score predictions? Team predictions? How much pressure is Wenger under for this match? Will you be there? Are you excited? How much will Eboue be missed??

I 8-2 say this but even though Arsenal have no chance of winning any trophies this season if they carry on as they are they would have to be favourites to win this. If you can't win this maybe it's time for the Professor from Bagpuss to stand down as manager.
Heart says a draw, head says Arsenal but we'll win the singing !

  11. I wonder if Arsene would consider playing RVP is a free role behind a striker but who I wonder? Walcott perhaps since Gers is out.....

If we don't win this, there are another 34 matches in the season - 102 easy points ;)

Atcham, I don't know about mice but have you seen some of our lot, they're about the same size. Leon, Dyer, Routledge and Allen could easily be mistaken for the Anthill mob.

My prediction is Scottswan's match thread will embarass this attempt, no offence meant but they are good. Prediction is 2 teams trying to play football on the ground.

    Arsenal 1 - 15 Swansea

    I heard this rumour today.

Things must be pretty nerve-wracking at Arsenal right now,if Jack Wilshere gets injured at all this season they'll officially lose their status as an English club.

I'm hoping you boys will play 4-3-3 again, would love our boys to over run your midfield, please will you play Jenkinson, though Shabby should entertain in his absence!!!...............

How will you over run a midfield 3 with lesser midfield players? Jenkinson will not play, Sagna and Santos will. Even then Jenkinson has already played a much better side then you this season and performed really well in that game.

Could be a bad time to be playing Arsenal as they may be fired-up to bounce back.

One thing I will say is it's good to see that the Arsenal fans on here are a good bunch who we can clearly have a laugh with, there's some right miserae buggers in the championship.

SuperJack, that Gary Coleman is taller than some of our midfield, you wait and see.

I'll be doing a thread closer to the game, but I've been banned from predicting the scores in mine because they're inevitably doomed, so I'll do it here. 1-1.

The Manyoo result could be the best, or worst, thing to happen to the Swans all season. I'm aware I'm about to contradict my prediction, but I can see either Arsenal responding with zest to the thumping by Rooney & co, or capitulating and we might sneak something. However, I'm not going to predict we get drubbed, and I can't honestly say I expect us to win... so....

    1-1.
