Liverpool's own Derry Mathews was defeated in his world title fight against unfancied Italian Emiliano Marsili. Unlucky Derry good effort considering he was broke up from the 1st to 3rd rounds but battled on to take rounds 4 and 5. It mightn't be the end for 'Dirty' Derry yet , after the fight both fighters and a translator doing the post match P.C. when Derry said '' I need a good rest and go back to the drawing board unless he'll give me a rematch, but i doubt he will'' . The translator was babbling to the Italian and then said ''a re-match ,why not? but this time in Italy'' The Italian is tough but Derry hurt him , It was the Italians speed that stumped Derry. So if he does get a re-match at least this time he'll know what he's facing as that was Marsili's first ever fight outside of Italy.
