Completely off topic but the usal gaming thread is all about FIFA etc.

Do any of you lot play Trials HD on xbox? i swear tis the most addictive game ever released and they're due to release the next installment. If you have xboxlive then i suggest you download the demo if you've never played it before.

I wish i could have back the days of my life that i've spent playing this game. but i bloody love it.

anybody play it or track share on it?

It's a pretty addictive game. I remember when it started as a free game on miniclip.com.

Not sure if you're aware of this already, but there's a sequel coming out in the Autumn where you can compete against up to 3 of your friends on the same track over Xbox Live/PSN.

aware? i've been vibrating with excitement since they confirmed it. the trailer they released for it looks pretty awesome. If i thought i was competetive with my mates on the current one then it's gonna be 10x worse when we race head to head. i swear ive put more hours in on that game than any other that i've had for any console ever. its quite sad really but what can i say once it has you in its icy grip you JUST HAVE to get those platinum medals.

not just the platinum medals, you wanna break the top 300 on leaderboard so your replay is saved for the world to see. ive only one that ive managed it on. love the hard tracks though, Inferno II is my favourite but only because ive played it so much

i surprised that more people don't know about it seeing as its pretty much the best selling XBL arcade game ever and is critically acclaimed. i've put many converts onto it in the last year or so and they all still play it regularly. we're all in our late 20's and are married with kids etc and we still compete like hungry hyenas if someone has the nerve to scalp one of our best time. we really need to grow up i reckon....

be honest, i bet it took you ages to complete inferno II the first time you played that track? it took me bloody ages but i was adamant that i would complete it. must admit i've not broke into the leaderboard positions (but its not for the lack of trying!!) you got the add on packs with the extra tracks?

yep! everything to do with trials. love it. so handy just having it on hard drive to quick launch it when sick of other games. Inferno did take me ages to do. only once i watched a few replays and seen the technique of stopping on back wheel and holding it there by tapping accelerator and brake continuously. such an amazing game, and with 4ppl to a track its going to be immense. now be able to watch your friends fail in real time. RedLynx are legends. Also love the way they have Brandon DiCamillo, Rake Yohn from CKY + Jackass doing all the voices and screams. Whens release date for Evolution??

after conducting my own extensive research the closest date i could nail down was 'autumn' which means it must be fairly imminent. I've got to say inferno II took me the longest to do out of all the levels. aye its a cool touch having rake yohn talking jibberish at the start up. i just love the physics of it. even when you fail in an epic fashion its still satisfying even now i still cringe at some of the 'injuries'. Some of the cutom tracks that made it into the last expansion packs are better than a lot of the red lynx released ones. i just wish i could get my hands on a few to download. I sadly don't have the patience to build them myself.

just noticing some wab gave this thread a 1 star rating. PS3 fan boy maybe. Yeah those custom tracks were amazing. some of the physics they used for the levels were stuff i never even knew redlynx included. like that one which has robots going in circles and you have to get thru unseen, and another one where the room has a clock in it and you have to make it through before the clock goes full circle and the room blows. Its a little bit of stress relief in the game when u cant get past something so you nail it as fast as possible and be sure the rider gets f-ed up, and sit back watching his demise, telling yourself he deserved it and its his fault u cant finish the track lol.

    Such a game
