well, I knocked it up but thats not the point, I have done other bits which have taken hours if not days and i've seen those on other sites, people claiming them as their own it's just this is the first football related one

Seriously, intellectual copyright has become really difficult to enforce these days. If someone is using your work for commercial purposes you have a right to a cut, if they're passing it off as their own that's fraudulent. If you're just miffed seeing it used without your permission you could write to them and ask for it to be credited.
