Does anywhere know of anywhere to live in Newcastle thats not too highly priced and not a ****hole like scotchy or cowgate?

Had enough of living at home and need to find somewhere reasonably priced to move to, will probably have 1 or 2 flatmates to help split the rent up.

If anyone has any insights let me know, and as always there rep in it ;)

(Would post on general chat but that would be pointless)

Isn't there a new complex down beside the river in Byker? Think somebody I know bought a house in Rowes Mews which is supposed to be quite good and in that area.

Jesmond is going to be quite expensive. It's a very popular area.

Try www.spareroom.co.uk put in areas of Newcastle and see what comes up, Gosforth had rents at under £300 pcm in shared houses, only a couple but worth trying.

Going to take a look on that spareroom site and might have a look for places in Heaton also <ok>

Never lived away from home before so this is all new to me, about time I started thinking about it though, getting sick of the rents!
