    Published: 05 June, 2014
    by Kate Morton
    Pre-season plans gather momentum.
SAFC are set to travel to Portugal as part of their pre-season preparations.
Gus Poyet’s side will be based in the Algarve for a warm-weather training camp and will play three games in the region between July 28 and August 3.
Details and venues for the games are in the process of being finalised and a further announcement will be made in due course.
Information on SAFC’s pre-season fixtures is available here on safc.com.

Not a bad one at all!

Could fancy this, we were there the other year and it was canny, hopefully we have some high profile games again, we had Benfica & Atletico Madrid last time I think.

Since I got back home I've set up a transport business ..... we're now touting for deliveries to Portugal.

It's a long drive but we have a sleeper cab in the truck <ok>

I see what you mean but, if we take the truck we'll make a profit and be able to travel without booking accommodation.

Might see what deliveries are available for Carlisle <laugh>

Same here, if there are some good games and I am not busy I will be well up for this. I will be flying too, surly the fuel alone makes it cheaper than driving?? unless of course as in smugs case he has a load to take down there he is getting paid for.

Driving isn't an option mate, it might sound exciting but it's a long way and you have ferries, tolls & loads of other ****.

It's better to fly and rent a car, preferably between 2 of you.

Otherwise go on Anglo Info.com and sort some accom with an expat and buy a car for 200 euros that you can crash into things then dump at the airport <ok>

    You know me too well.

Here's the car to buy for the lads going down http://algarve.angloinfo.com/classi...lassified/420704/fiat-bravo-1.2-16v-80sx-2000

He'll take 250 euros and pick you up from the airport.

Split the cost between a few lads and it's **** all ....... plus you can drive away from petrol stations, do a few jobs and kidnap a 4 year old <ok>

When you've done drive it straight up to the check in desk and take your luggage out of the boot.

    Jobs a good 'un <laugh>

He's part of the package mate, sits on the back seat in his England shorts and legs wide apart. You have to go in to the boot though to find his penis, as like all VIP's he likes to keep his personal life separate..<ok>

    Hahaha.

Funny thing actually, Mr Shearer was in the same restaurant as me on Sunday, 3 tables away with his family, and I ****ing hate to say it, but the **** was thoroughly decent and respectful.

I was gonna piss next to him to compare knobs but didn't risk it on the very slim chance it was bad news.

His family all seemed good people, kind of ****ed up my blind 'he's a ****' chain of the last 20 years.

    Bah.
