Bitter sweet for Van Gaal that is. No sooner lifts the Cup and is told Jose is taking over!

    And ..

Bitter for me because, yup I watched it Cookie, and I so wanted Palace to win. Not just for 'dad dancing' Fulham fan Pardew, nor because I have a soft spot for them but because I so did not want West Ham to get into Europe. Nothing special against them, since they've played well at times this season, but they (guess I really mean Gold, Sullivan and Brady) just don't deserve the extra boost after the "scam" that got them the Olympic Stadium,

Mind. there is a little sweet lining linked to that as well - the stadium might not be ready in time for their first game in the qualifying round. The Olympic is scheduled to be handed over 1st August and West Ham had planned an "opener" friendly against Juventus on 7th August but their first round qualifier is 10 days earlier.

[PS Another team in that stage of the Euros is Celta Vigo - the club of Sergi Gomez, who we are allegedly tight on signing]

[PPS Jose Mourinho ducked the United celebrations and went to watch the David Hayes fight instead]
