Today's most used hanger, the shoulder-shaped wire hanger, was inspired by a coat hook that was invented in 1869 by O. A. North of New Britain, Connecticut. An employee of the Timberlake Wire and Novelty Company, Albert J. Parkhouse of Jackson, Michigan has been credited with the invention.

Padded coat hangers have no place in the modern game. IMO.

Like many others I have a strong suspicion that the Bullard to DQPR deal is being help up by the wrong type of coat hanger, if DQPR could go the extra mile and offer our Jim a couple of dozen padded ones, than things may start to progress. Those 10 for a quid brittle plastic ones are not what Mr BUlllard is looking for at this stage of his career.

I locked my keys in my car outside of an abortion clinic the other night.

Turns out they get really pissed when you go in and ask them for a coat hanger...

Kiera Knightly could be a very satisfactory coat hanger.
