sigh.... I have been thinking about it.... I have a concept where non role players have a big role and each have choices to make and quests while the role playing players compete. I don't exactly know when is actually good to play it however.
I'm keen to play, won't be able to run one though unfortunately. I'm away from 15 to 19 June, apart from that I'm free. I would guess 1 game before the Euros (after CL final) and one game after Euros? Or give it a break and play after the Euros only? What do you guys think?
ok so talk to me on this game. Do we think we can get 20+ players? Are people going to go mad about themes and not play even if the theme is really just dressing?
Yes Probably only one like gerrez but he's gone (rip) so should be good to go for any theme. As long as knowledge of theme ha dno real impact to game then makes no difference.
Hosting is out for me I'm afraid, just isn't going to happen now. I'll play if short on numbers but don't expect a lot of interaction (still be more than RHC mind).
hey i like the look of the letskillqprted but does this hurt i mean it sounds a great idea but are you guys sure this dosnt hurt
What about a bog-standard game with no strange roles, just a straight up Mafia game with clear rules that everyone understands? A lot quicker to set up and easier to manage, and no confusion or needing to keep re-reading the rules or the thread to keep up. It's also easy to set up a game with fewer people if we're keeping it simple. So standard town vs 1 mafia team, with a SK thrown in for example. Easily scalable if numbers are higher or lower than expected, you just add to the Mafia number and give town an extra role or two. EDIT: No known Cop role please
we've prob got oh about.. what.... 2/3 who'll actually discuss the thing and the rest who might play but won't offer any opinions it seems. I'd suggest a pm thread to discuss? anyone really interested PM me and i'll make a group.
