you may recall plymouth argyle went into admin owing 17.9 million. a new buyer has still not been found and there is a deadline for next week. whoever buys the club has to pay at least 6 million for the club and ground and this includes loan o/s plus back pay for staff and players. 1 person is waiting in the wings, but there is a danger argyle may go bust. i assume this would affect top of bsl/L2 bottom and/or top of L2/bottom of L1 as plymouth have been relegated. i will let you know any developments, but it does look as tho' poor argyle have been poorly directed for some time. anyway a sad talking point and i for one hope they survive as the green army have raised money for away accomodation for the unpaid team. every one except the directors need praise, even the manager peter reid wants to carry on in L2. green army
If Plymouth did drop out of the footy league then the gap would be in league 2 so it would be a conference team who benefit.
they certainly deserved better from the last bunch of alleged directors. at least a businessman is standing by and the deadline is this friday for the administrators to be satisfied
