Who do you think will do the best & is there anyone of them that scares you.

My view is that Reading will do the best out of the lot, they have a good manager who has done well in the championship recently, the same with the players. so i reckon they will be top 3.

QPR - are really going to be an unknown quantity, what players will they retain? will Harry still be there? what we do know is that they will take time to re group, so i reckon playoffs at best, but will probably miss out.

Wigan - I reckon their best players will go, as will martinez so again will need time to rebuild, I can't see them splashing the cash around so i reckon they will miss out on the playoffs, probably finishing mid table at best.

    what do you guys think?

I think it will be another season like this..no stand out clubs, and everyone beating each other.
My current tips for next season will be Brighton, if they can hold on to Poyet, QPR for a top six at least, and i think Middlesboro will be up with the pack.
As for the other two teams coming down, Reading will be top half for sure, and Wigan i'm afraid might be doing a Bradford, and could keep on going down the swanny.
As for us, i'm pretty confident in a top six, if we can sign a couple of more players.

Wigan and Watford will take the two auto spots, then it'll be a fight to the death for play off spots for everyone else, QPR and Reading included.

I think if Martinez does leave then Whelan will be clever enough to appoint a manager to continue the work that has already been done, so I fancy them to be strong next season <ok>

As for the current lot, the obvious would be Brighton and Leicester but I fancy Leeds to be in and around it along with Blackburn... In fact I'd say 20 of the 24 probably have a genuine ambition of challenging for the play offs <ok>

You've got to remember that Wigan have Europa Cup commitments. That will be an extra workload.

I think in regards to the relegation scrap, it will be more defined to be roughly these 6 teams involved:

    Yeovil/Brentford
    Donny
    Bournemouth
    Huddesfield
    Barnsley
    Millwall

Thats what i reckon anyway! none of this silly anyone from 17 could go down!

I think that Reading will be strong but I can't see them as a top 2 team, QPR will continue to be a shambles and probably finish in mid table and Wigan will begin a steady decline down the leagues. The leading clubs next season will be the ones who have just missed out this year because they are used to the demands of the championship and will hit the ground running

You have to remember that they are closing the loophole which watford exploited this season, Leicester will be strong contenders for automatics.

I think Reading will most likely be the best team as I think they have a Championship team anyway so they won't need to change their team much and they have a very good manager, who may well with a few good signings be able to take them to the next level.

QPR are a really unknown quality for me I wouldn't be surprised to see them get relegated again or finish top. I think alot depends on Harry staying, there is a complete shambles of a squad with lots of overpaid players but he's spent most of his career doing it so in the short term I think he could be their best bet as I think he's the only manager who could get them to return instantly to the PL. But really they need a complete overhaul with a few seasons at this level rebuilding. If Harry leaves though, I see dark times for them unless there is a real change of culture there.

Wigan, I'm really not sure about, if Martinez stays and they retain most of their players, they'll do very well but they do have PL quality players so no doubt there will be a interest in them. I think the worst they will finish is midtable but they could potentially storm the league, it's just who they retain.

As for the rest of the league I think it's going to be very poor again next season, with alot of teams much of a muchness, we'll be around the playoffs because we will probs be fairly consistent. As for the others if Poyet stays Brighton will be up there along with Bolton and if Watford fail to get promoted they will also be up there, along with Forest!! As for the rest, I think it'll just be piss poor in terms of quality!!

Could you imagine some of the QPR superstars playing away midweek in the driving rain at Yeovil in december!

Wigan are going to struggle next season as their European games will be the kiss of death to any chances of promotion! Their squad is paper thin and with their best players already gone they will struggle to avoid a double dip! QPR remain a bloody shambles and I can see that once the civil war breaks out among their collection of prima-donnas they will seriously struggle. Reading (unfortunately as I cant stand the bastards) will win the league next year with Leicester taking the second auto spot. Ipswich will finish top 6 under Super Mick <ok>

The thing is with wigan, if Martinez goes, who is going to replace him and keep the same style? Broken Leg Dave isn't going to go abroad so my guess is someone will come in with a more english style, which will take time.
