First off, to repeat myself, he was a **** in April, not September. How can he be entered into the September competition when his offence was in April? That's not what the competitions about. If we start doing that we'll have to start entering people like Hitler, Saddam Hussein, Bin Laden, Napoleon, William the Conqueror etc. every month. Should Hatem Ben Arfa have been nominated for man of the match against Palace because he was good against West Brom over a week ago? Secondly, it's not a silly poll.

I've only ever read one of those blogs. If people were on here kicking off about it it could deserve an entry, but they don't. If you have any suggestions for entrees feel free to PM them towards the end of the month. I'm impartial during the selection process so they will be adjudged on their own merits and not prejudiced by my faith and/or beliefs.

I don't think we can do anything with polls. I think the cleanest option is a whole new thread and close or delete this one.
