Sean O'Driscoll has joined..........wait for it !...........NO not Plymouth.........but Nottingham Forest as first team coach. Steve Cotterill who took over last October has added O'Driscoll to his staff as first team coach. They both played together at Bournemouth.........the same club as Carl Fletcher had got to know O'Driscoll. So where does that leave Carl Fletcher and having a mentor..........O'Driscoll seemed the obvious choice. Could it still be Warnock ?
Think thats the key point-where does that leave Fletcher think he will need some additional support given we are against Crawley on Saturday.
We just need the team to perform on Saturday rather than a flash of brilliance by Fletcher. I guess nobody saw that one coming but looking at Forrest and them being so "big" as they liked to tell everyone, they need all the help they can get as well. I won't be pinning my hopes on Warnock joining as I think that despite us wishing for it, it is a bit of a long shot. That way I won't be disappointed when or if it doesn't happen. Somehow I don't see Warnock as a mentor given his character and he would surely want to take over rather than just advise. Lets face it we are no worse off than we were yesterday so it isn't neccessarily a backward step.
sensible ........the talk is all about Richard Money and Colin Lee.........both are said to be interested..........Lee actually still lives in Devon.
You can understand why he has gone to Nottingham Forrest as opposed to here .... no disrespect to Fletcher but down here he would have just been a wet nurse to a snotty nosed kid !
