If we're in for Debuchy a loan for Odemwinge would be off the table anyway.

Unless we can send Yedlin back to Spurs, but if it's anything like Toivonen's loan we're stuck with him as well.

 

You could just make Yedlin permanent, he's only worth about £9.50

 

I'd stump that up then sell the useless ****er to someone else. Wouldn't even care if I made a loss.

Not exactly. Odemwingie is in his final 6 months which means the club can put it though as a transfer and give him a six month contract rather than put it through as a loan.

He's not great tbh. Bit like Van Aanholt where he's better going forward. I think he plays on the wing for USA.

Sam has barely played him so mustn't think he's better than Jones - which means he's barely a Premier League footballer.

Yedlin isn't as good as Jones defensively, but exceptionally fast and a good crosser. His crosses are usually to the edge or just outside the six yard box and head height or just a bit higher - ideal for Fletcher or possibly N'Doye. If Sam fancies Johnson as CM, I wouldn't mind Yedlin taking the wing position. But if Defoe's the only striker, that wouldn't be so good.
