The former West Brom man spent last transfer deadline day hanging around Loftus Road in his car in a bid to join Harry Redknappâs men, but his efforts were to no avail after he was turned away by QPR staff. But things appear not to have got quite so desperate this time, sealing a switch to Stoke with six days of the window remaining. The Potters tonight broke the news they had agreed a deal with Cardiff which would see Kenwyne Jones go in the other direction. A statement on Stokeâs website said: âThe deal is subject to both players passing medicals and agreeing personal terms but the Potters hope to conclude their move for the Nigerian international over the weekend. â
