Wigan had a 4 million bid rejected and WBA have placed an 8 million tag on him. Personally, I rate him quite highly and feel he has to be worth that and we might get him for six. He's Nigerian so it would mean we would lose him Sess and Gyan during the ANC Even still ...got to be worth a punt IMO
Have Benin qualified for ACON? Definitely have him, better than some of the strikers we've been linked with.
No and doesnt look like they will, I think its top of all groups go through, then 2 best runners up. Benin have 4 points from 4 games (4 teams in the group) but Côte d'Ivoire have 12 points from 4 games, so hve won the group and Benin can only get 10 points. Ghana and Sudan have 10 points each, in the same group, after 4 games so thats probably 1 of the 2 runners up spots taken. There are quite a few 2nd place teams on 7-8 points in other groups, so i do think the chances are slim to none for benin to qualify, its not impossible, but not likely either. (if it works the way i think it works) PS: can you tell its 03:40 and i am bored out my head.
