Do you watch Dinner for 1 at Christmas?

Apparently it has been very popular in Germany for years but it is due its first showing in England this year. Made the news on TV just now, I think they said there was even a stamp bearing the lead character.

Ah yes, Dinner For One. Where shall I begin? The first time you watch it, it is indeed very funny and Freddie Frinton is hilarious as the butler (and the guests ;)). But once you've seen it, you've seen it. Yet it gets repeated here every year on New Year's Eve, and I always get forced to watch it, and all the Germans piss themselves laughing and I just kind of sit there and say "oh yeah, he fell over the tiger's head again. Yawn."

Watch it once and admire the performance, then never watch it again would be my advice.
