Two weeks between the West Brom game and Arsenal away. If the result doesn't go our way against West Brom you have to think Quinn and Short would see this period as the perfect time to act and get rid of Bruce. Plenty of time to Interview potential successors and take their time with it. The new man could even have a few days on the training pitch with the players before the trip to the Emirates.

The way I feel right now is that the best case scenario is that we beat West Brom then Bruce resigns and leaves with the shred of credibility he has left.

I just cant see him walking away from that handsome pay out if he's sacked.

Surely Quinn and Short are in discussions over Bruce's golden handshake and already have someone ready to sign along the dotted line!

(And yes, I will stop calling you Shirley.)

I would find it worrying if there aren't discussions going on behind closed doors. If not we are gonna be in the championship next year and the board are gonna be scratching their heads wondering how it happened

I was hopeful like many that the stoke result would see us going on a little run with good results against norwich and wba. Now after last night I feel even a win against wba would only mean another stay of execution for Bruce. What kind of season can we really have with that in mind. I think that the people wanting Bruce out now outnumbers those wanting to give him more time and I hope the board are tuned into this.
Say we are 'only' so many games in, fact is that two promoted teams have 3 more points than us and the other are level, its not good enough considering we have played two of them.

We are in the same boat as Blackburn in my opinion, whichever board has the nerve to pull the trigger first will finish above the other

I think you are pushing hope a little far, Bruce will not resign, he wants to be pushed, he will never manage a team as big as Sunderland ever again. So for him its all about the money.
