    If you read this artical

It looks like Pardew wants to sign Stephen Ireland. It appears to be a growing trend for Newcastle to sign injured players what with the signing of Ben Arfa and Gosling.

Well the physio's would want to be bored would they? :emoticon-0105-wink:

Since the departure of Qwen and Viduka they've been fairly idle.

A happy physio is a good physio

An on form Ireland would be a player worth having. Pardew hasn't said he wants to sign him, he has just said that it is up to Ireland to prove that he is worth signing but that he hopefully still has time to do that. Sounds like good encouraging man management to me.

Ben Arfa wasn't injured when we took him on loan and got injured playing for us. He had already proven that he was worth signing permanently.

Gosling. Injured yes but very much one for the future.

I don't think we have made a habit of signing injured players and don't see this as setting any sort of trend.

This. Ireland is that creative spark we need in the middle, something the work-house and defensive beast that Tiote is doesn't have and that the rugged experienced goalscoring man Nolan doesn't have. Ireland has got great ability on the ball(technically brilliant at times), can play out wide if needed and on form is a very special player.

Definitely worth a punt.. don't care if he has a **** attitude or whatever.

I think we should try for Hargreaves and maybe attempt to re-sign Dyer.

The Ireland loan is starting to become a joke, Villa must be laughing their tits off.

Ireland could turn out to be a great signing. Lets wait and see. We waited 3 years to see the best of Joey Barton, i can wait a bit longer to see what Ireland can do.

Gosling has real potential and we got him for nowt! So i have no complaints there either.

Ben Arfa? Was broken in two by a balded headed twat. Cant say hes injury prone.
