ok just got back from the match... wasnt great but a points a point
anyway after seeing my first match of the season in the flesh ive come to the conclusion that pardew either has been given some dodgy advice or is seriously incompitent... ameobi was absolutly shocking every time he got the ball he either fell over or was softly tackled...whenever he was on the pitch we looked completly flat and slow...however fastfoward to 65 minutes (or later i cant rember) ba and marveaux are on the pitch and all of a sudden we look a threat, smoother passing wing play and a good balence all round...surely pardew can see this but he seems insistent on playing the lovable donkey!
on another note ive changed my mind on raylor looked hideously out of place vs swp and we were lucky he didnt score or set up a goal i think danny really impressed me today and should keep his rb slot and santon get the lb slot dont think its worth keepinng raylor in team just for free kicks when both marveaux and cabaye are specialists and when bennys back he can also crack a ball

anyway just my thoughts after watching from pitch level!
