After saturdays bitter defeat against Newcastle these Observations may comfort some of us disapointed fans. Here we go: We have played 12 matches from which we have lost eight. From those eight defeats six have been against top ten teams. Five of them have been against top six teams ( Chelsea, ManU, Southampton, Newcastle and West Ham) and only two of them have been against teams outside top ten (Liverpool 12th yes that freak one! and Hull City 16th) Five of our horrible away matches (and defeats)have been against top six sides (Chelsea, ManU, Southampton, West Ham and Newcastle) and one against Spurs (10th) To make a long story short we have played against almost all the strongest teams already....and almost all of them have been away. This speculation is of course needless if we cant beat our next matches which are beforehand much easier than those we have played already.....
Nice try Igor, but neither ManU, West Ham nor Newcastle would be in the top 6 if they hadn't taken 3 points from us. Honestly fixtures are the same for every team, in this league there are no easy games as we have found out so far and will continue to discover week by week. We need to get the winning habit, just like Burnley have done, and keep it up like Newcastle.
.. Spot on Grinning. I was not trying anything but have to say at least that our away programme have been extremely hard.....
Bloody hell twins! There's no need to be so realistic. Igor is only talking out loud to try and rationalise how ****e we've been. Just like the rest of us are, in our own minds kinda thing. It will come good, it will all come good in the end. Won't it?
I have to agree with Twins, Nines. Don't matter what way you spin it (and Igor's made a valiant attempt) we've been pure sh*te this season. Win against Leicester or Harry's time could be coming to an end.
Igors OP reminds me of the way that Flyer used to quote his stats to prove a completely opposite point to what we could all see with our own eyes.. Nice try Igor...but no cigar..
I thought that you were singing Harry's praises in the close season ( I can't be arsed to drag up the relevant posts. ). But now you've had a sudden 'Sea change.'
I was and there's nowt sudden about it. A Manager's only as good as his next game and so far THIS season he's failing. That's obvious when you look at the table. If he doesn't get a couple of wins in the next few games then Tony might pull the trigger and he'll have no complaints from me. Its a results based business Ninesy lad.
My observation is we are a far better team than last season, regardless of the fact that we are bottom
