    Meanwhile, ahead of the game against his former club, the Blues’ new boy Martins said today: “If I score I am going to do the backflip.”

    Former No 9 Martins – who was dreadful at Villa Park in May two years ago as United crashed into the Championship – today vowed to celebrate any goal with a backflip in front of the Toon Army at St Andrews.

    Both quotes from todays Chronicle, surely if he scores he should show a bit of respect considering the **** he left us in. Saying that if his shooting form is anything to go by, he'll be lucky to get any on target.

    I hope Willo and Collo go through him adn crock him. <grr>

    I'm sure you'd feel the same if Bent came back after leaving the club in the **** and then celebrated a goal he scored in front of your supporters.

    Just shows a lack of respect IMO.

    Hopefully if he does get to do the back flip it'll be like his shooting in front of goal. He'll mistime it and land on his ****in neck.

    meh, he can please himself as far as i'm concerned. he had no real allegience to us in fairness. if carroll was to score past us and celebrate wildly it would hurt, but martins can please himself. He actually has to score first, for me there'll only be a chicken dance on display anyway ;)

    It doesn't matter how good Martins plays, at some point of the match he will fall folly to the 'Tiote Turn&#8482;'. The greatest piece of footballing skill known to man.

    I dont think he will score
    the main threat is that giant who will cause williamson problem after problem from set pieces
    other than that i think we can easily get something from this game
