    I can imagine that, greatly boosting the company's image in the region.

    In saying that, I hate my O2 phone, the customer service is disgraceful and the mobile internet I get is poor. The name rolls of the tongue easier than Sports Direct though. <ok>

    This was the plan. ashley takes the flak and it makes and move from the current name to soneone like 02 welcome for the fans and therefore more attractive to sponsors. Bring it on and show us the money.

    Better than SportsDirect I agree, and does sound semi decent, but just sounds like a music venue! One of the better suggestions I suppose though

    O2 St James Park could be a good shout. I can see them going with o2 Arena though to be honest.

    I'm on o2. Pretty decent for me <laugh>

    Either way it'll only ever be St James to the fans, at least with 02 we'd get some cash from it. Ashley's never going to give it it's original name so 02 trumps SD for me! Plus they might call it 02 @ St James or something if we're lucky.
