What a result in the High Court. Perhaps they will now stop looking down at us ( apart from when they want our votes!! )

Loved it!! Does this now mean that PC Rowland will now sue Mitchell for libel after calling him a liar?

Although it likes to think it is, I hardly think The Sun has the Working mans benefits at heart.

It was already in as a counter claim. Damages to be assessed. Apparently Mitchell is in a financial hole although no doubt his mates will help him out.

What an absolute ****ing disgrace this whole episode has been. One adult calling another adult a mildly offensive name and it warrants this multi million pound inquest? It beggars belief.

That is another point. A soldier earns about £20k a year for having his arse shot off in Afghanistan - the legal profession grab £3m for sorting out this fiasco. Disgraceful!!!

I agree with you but the word "Pleb" comes with a highly Toxic political symbolism, and this why Andrew Mitchell has spent £3 Million in trying to deny the fact that he said it! This is what Politics has been reduced to in this country, no wonder the vast majority of the public have completely switched off from it.

You see Munky miracles can some time happen! <laugh> <ok>

I fancy a good old rip roaring debate about the next election but I guess we can save that for nearer the time!

No need for a debate, if Cameron can get out of the hole he has dug, we'll call the bastard Houdini!

I think it's pretty fair to say that all 3 main stream leaders are all deep in the brown stuff. This next General Election will be the most exciting and interesting election there has ever been in my life time!

The next General Election will be the first time that I will be voting 'tactically', although I think that Cameron is a complete tool I shall be voting Tory as the thought of Millipeed in No.10 brings me out in a cold sweat ! The Labour party practically bankrupted this country in their last term (as they always do) and that can't be allowed to happen again. Besides, if the Tories are re-elected at least we get a vote on leaving the EU <party>

KIO, you must be a very rich man to want to re-elect the prick that makes the rich, richer and the poor, poorer!

Yeah lets soak the rich and watch them leave in their droves!

It has worked so well in France hasn't it.

Who will be left to pick up the bills when that happens, I wonder! <doh>

KIO talks a lot of sense in regards to Milliband, the bloke is a total wet weekend and would bring this country to its knees, I'm not saying cameron is a lot better and I don't trust them in the slightest, but I have too admit I didn't expect the economy to recover as quickly as it had done.

If labour got somebody else in, I would consider voting for them if not its either UKIP or the tories!

lib dems gone way down in my estimation, UKIP are a far better option than them wet weekends. I want a PM who will stand up and do Hugh Grantesque speech ala david beckhams right foot and not have us bending over to the americans/euros!

Where I live its a straight fight between the Tories and Labour with the Tories currently holding the seat with a 2,000 majority. I was thinking of voting UKIP but I want to keep Labour out and so I will be voting Tory again.

can understand that line of thinking warky, but at sometime if UKIP are going to be a serious option people have to take the plunge and vote for them, or they will always be the protest vote.

I'm not talking about income tax JWM, I'm talking about vastly underpricing Royal Mail for the benefit of his rich chums and preparing a similar situation with the NHS!
