Buddy Guy - best I have ever seen and he was about 80 then I would have loved to have seen him in his prime http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3hjqqa5tq5k

Check out my mate Greg Coulson from The Selecter he has a new blues band and they are superb. I think Steve Winwood is one of the best I have seen, extremely talented guy.
Far too many to choose from. All the above posts have merit. John Mayall has probably brought through as much blues guitarist talent as I can think of. LIV - listened to your sig. Like that tubthumper of yours.
That is phenomenal! I feel so guilty for not keeping up with much music and not listening to enough people like this as a musician!! But thus guy is something else. Been on this thread for a while and, because if this video, been looking him up on YouTube. **** me he's good! Joe Walsh has always been one of my favourites. Saw the Eagles a couple of years ago and he did a little solo spot in the middle. Brilliant. Oh and a lad called "Mitch Laddie" amazing guitarist
R.L. Burnside is a particular favourite I keep playing when I'm in the mood for a bit of blues, B.B. king is a class act as well.
I have seen George play many times and it is always a good night. Saw a band recently, possible The Smugglers called The Boneshakers, now the music was a bit too bluesy for me however the guitarist was excellent. Speaking of the Alligators, their ex bassist Joss Elliott is playing soon with the Baz Warne fronted Robot Elvis............now there is a goodnight out. Anyone heard of Paul Rose? http://www.paulrose.co.uk/
Sister Rosetta Tharpe http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SR2gR6SZC2M&hd=1 Played electric guitar before Elvis was born.
Paul Kossoff for me was one of the best blues guitarists..
