    "Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has risked the wrath of Manchester City fans on Twitter, laughing at Kolo and Yaya Toure's Africa Cup of Nations final defeat for Ivory Coast"

    It seems that every time I read/hear the news or watch the TV, there has been another 'comment' from our Wayne or he is spouting off to some star struck reporter, scoring cheap points off the opposition or putting the football world to rights.

    Apart from being a bloody good footballer, I never had him down as the brain of Britain or someone whose views were so important that we have to have them rammed down our throat at every opportunity.

    If this carries on, his head will grow bigger than it already is now.!

    1) The octogenarian prostitutes;
    2) His decision to **** a pug-ugly hooker whilst his wife was pregnant;
    3) His decision to start diving around like some Spanish twat this season;
    4) His absolute lack of any intellijuns (spelling?);
    5) His arrogance as a footballer

    Just some of the reasons I hate the balding, faux-Paddy, fat Scouse ****

    Completely irrelevant
    Arrogance as a footballer? He puts everything into every game he plays, a proper player if you ask me. There are some players at our club who are more arrogant than Rooney! Can't say I've noticed any diving, but given that most games he plays for England he gets totally cheated by some daft foreign player who can't stop him fairly, could you blame him if he started playing that way?

    Twitter gives these dimwits a mouthpiece, it won't be long before clubs vet everything that is tweeted by the likes of Rooney and Co.

    The line between Sportsman and Celebrity is being blurred.

    Twitter helps this.

    Sportsmen don't appear to often be very clever.

    Chaos ensues.

    This pisses me off immensely. I remember when women talked about celebrities and the men watched sport instead. Now it's the same thing.

    Footballers regularly in Ok or Hello magazine these days. A WAG influence, I feel.

    Twitting off about what they think about Soap characters, or what they've had for tea etc.

    It's drivel and minutia, the kind of crap readers of celeb mags crave.

    Doesn't help that half the country would pick their Englad teams based on who's shagging who.

    I'm in no way a fan of his, but David Cameron said "Too many tweets makes a twat", and of course he was correct.

    He then went back to being a moon faced bringer of doom.

    Yeah pretty sure, because some people had a go at him. I'm sure he said it, I clearly remember being amused.

    What in the name of **** are you talking about?

    It's my opinion that he's an arrogant footballer. I'm not asking people to agree, I'm saying that I think it and it's one of the reasons I hate him.

    As for the diving, it's something he's only been doing this season - at least noticeably - and at times it's embarrassingly theatrical. The "other people cheat him" excuse doesn't wash with me I'm afraid.
