One Spurs fan is apparently in critical condition after been stabbed in Rome. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...nham-fans-stabbed-Rome-ahead-Lazio-match.html
Think they are always warning fans to keep away from certain sections in Rome, hope the guy pulls through always sad to hear news like this
Very sad indeed, need to understand the full details, but fans of Lazio and Rome have a lot of previous with fan violence inside and outside the ground, was only a few year ago that ref was hit on the head with a coin and Roma had a few closed doors european games.....hope the Spurs fans weren't looking for trouble as Uefa have a hard on for nailing english fans to the wall for any problems they're involved in
I can't see how certain clubs attach themselves to certain political views. It's the same story in many countries around Europe, and the world for that matter (recent Egypt disaster a prime example, that was purely a political battle rather than just a footy hooligan punch up), I know clubs have catchment areas that include oppressed areas where they have widespread beliefs, but football has nothing to do with politics and don't see why the two should ever be associated.
