Surprised as it was widely commented on when MH was here. When he retired he had had more spent on transfers on him than any other player in this country I think. Just looked up his scoring record, 222 goals in 448 appearances. Yet he never got picked for England. His style wasn't liked bynsome people at the time. I feel nowadays he would just be judged on the goals.
