Fantastic fork lightning over Hull and the Humber at the moment. Vantage view from the 6th floor for me Great to watch.
haaa , we was just on about it , our lass thought the cat had fallen in the bath (WTF !!) and went up to have a look .
I am in Pock area, can hear it but cannot see it. Though it is pissing it down and black as hells door knocker.
There was a right massive ****er that seemed to crash down over Hessle Road, proper thick bolt. Could've been miles away like. Spectacular.
Have to say 'the cats fallen in the bath darling' is potentially a fantastic euphemism. We had some belting bolts and rumbles in Hudds earlier this afternoon.
At the moment there's me and the two kids plus the dog in the house. I'm running from window to window like a right div getting all excited and no else is remotely interested. Even my pooch, most dogs are scared of thunder. Charles couldn't give a flying f**k, he's curled up my the French doors kipping like a good 'un. It's also blacker than a badgers arsehole out in North Ferrers.
Anlaby Road flats have just been illuminated (not great in itself), but the jagged fork of fury above it was superb.
Best lightning I ever saw was in Corsica. Huge summer storm and for 15-20mins, I sat on the balcony and watched bolts hit the masts of the ships. Seemed like the thunder was constant.
Christ on fire Party don't let that mentalist know where you live. Have you not seen SWF? He'll be posting **** ( I don't mean The Watchtower or a Makro Mail, I mean proper human turds)through your letter box at four in the morning and throwing water balloons filled with piss at you as you go to your car. That mother f**king pigeon would be the best neighbour you could imagine compared to the mad Jock. Just keep an eye out for a heroin addict with shortbread crumbs around his ginger chops and stay away. Well away. Cancel the above. Makro Mail is only delivered to members so wouldn't necessarily be posted through your door. My bad.
Brilliant band http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=L5t4dQ0jbXs Of course you could always be.... .... http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=v2AC41dglnM
We were at the John Cooper Clarke gig at Pock Arts Centre - brilliant, sides still aching from non-stop laughter. At one point the rain on the roof was so loud the support act stopped and asked if a plane was landing on us.
