He's a good player though. It's a crying shame that the 'Golden Generation' of England players never achieved anything, I can't see us having a better team for at least 20 years.

You can say that, but look at the final game of last Season, if that was an advert for the Premier League, I do want to go.

This Season has seen a lot of teams under-achieve in the League and it's led to Man Utd running away with it. Hopefully Man Utd go on a horrid run of form and City win it again.

RVP's ball in for the manyoo goal was top draw and Aquero's run for the winner wasn't too shabby.

Hard to criticise the quality when both these sides would open a can of whoop on us. Decent game I thought.

Don't really get the Man Utd hatred, I'd say I preferred them to Man City to be honest. I get the resentment towards Man Utd fans that live round here, but the club itself? I have no ill-feeling, if anything I'm grateful, the likes of Chester, Evans, Dudgeon and previously Cam.

    This.

Plenty more teams than Man Utd to be hating.

    DQPR, Arsenal, Chelski.

I don't mind Fulham. I don't know why, but I just seem to like Fulham.

    Damn

I was about to say DQPR, but you beat me. Fulham may be the only team I can stand from the capital.

I'm personally not a fan of Lancashire clubs either

    <laugh> true.

But, there are at least some clubs from outside of our great county I 'don't mind'.

I love watching Fulham, but only since they signed the greatest player in world football, Dimitar Berbatov. As I called Balotelli overrated on the other thread, there is an example of an underrated player. In terms of technical ability, he's in the top 3 in the world.

I like Berbatov. Mainly because he won me a £20 bet with my mate over whether he'd score more than 10 goals this season...

Couldn't really give a **** about Clubs outside of England. At the end of the day, we'd be against their Country in International matches and we'd always vouch for an English Club against the likes of Juventus, Bayern Munich etc in European games like the Champions League.

Therefore no need to pay attention to them. It's mostly just the same thing in foreign Leagues anyway. The German League is always between Dortmund and Bayern, Italy is always Juventus and the Milan(s), France is always PSG, Lyon or Marseille (Montpellier last Season was an exception), Scotland is always Celtic, Portugal is always Benfica, Spain is always Real Madrid, Barcelona or Atletico Madrid (vary rarely).

I have no time to look at Foreign Leagues.
