Now I may just be being picky but ...

Craig Bellamy runs past Jonathan De Guzman in the South Wales derby and brushes the top of his head with a straight arm .. it wasn't an elbow by any means ... he now faces an FA charge

Yaya Toure blatantly and deliberately kicks Ricky Van Wolswinkel whilst the latter lies prone on the deck ... the FA say no further action needs to be taken ..

I knew this would be the topic after reading the title.

They're a disgrace. What is different between that incident and the one that got Alan McGreggor a 3 match ban?

Reason is the ref didnt see Bellamy "punch" De Guzman while the ref seen the Toure incident but didnt deem it worth of anything. Whether or not he actually seen what actually happened is irrelevant

    Its a pathetic rule

In any other situation, where an employer had video evidence of one of their employees doing something useless and embarrassing, they'd get punished for it. I've never understood why the FA never question referees when they see a blatant red card and give a yellow or merely a foul.
