Decent game. But just heard Tyldesley say Spurs should be allowed up to 9000 tickets but the police wouldnt allow it and they got 5000. Its ****ing pathetic.

Yeah! They use security & safety as an excuse to not have to put a proper shift in! They should have reduced wages for less work to do! Wouldn't happen in any other walk of life!

Pretty sure it's not the best of ideas having 9000 Spurs fans around the Emirates at full time win or lose.

Why? At most Spurs will have a couple of hundred idiots, they'll be there anyway.

What would they do if they were in a Wembley cup final, give them 5,000 each?

:emoticon-0147-emo: And give the home supporters the Guardian to read, with non-fat lattes to sip on and dolphin safe tuna. :emoticon-0147-emo:

As the fans of the winning side are more likely to stay behind after the game, thats a bit of a silly one OLM.

You can't go restricting people's ability to watch football on the off chance you fail to police them properly. Tottenham fans haven't done out wrong have they?

There's still 40,000 fans of each side in Wembley before and after the game, it's ridiculous that they can manage it in one part of North Lindon, but can't handle 9,000 away fans at a game a few miles away.

That all came from the fact Rose couldn't use his right foot, he tried to force it onto his left foot instead of just clearing it with his right foot.

If the authorities can't police a crowd without the need to reduce it, there must be problems with their tactics. I suspect football matches are policed to a budget and nothing more.

Personally, I am waiting for them to close Hull Fair early because they don't have the resources to deal with more than 25,000 potentially drunk people hanging around a football stadium!

Are Spurs keeping Soldado on in case they get a penalty or something?

At least NFL teams don't have to leave their specialist kicker on the pitch at the expense of a proper player for most of their games...

How is that not a foul on Walker? The defender completely changed direction to barge into him off the ball.

Nah, it was defo on Walker. He kicked it one side of the Arse defender (didnt see who) and ran the other side of him to get round and the defender just completely changed direction and took him out on the edge of the box.

Ah yes, I vaguely remember that. Yes, I thought it was a foul.

I also thought he fouled Monreal for Arse's penalty shout, though. That was no 50:50 shoulder - it was a push.

Arsenal deserved to win. Spurs wasted their chances and were duly punished.

What the **** was Rose doing for the second goal?
