Sky are ramming this tedious sport down our throats, and are advertising the highlight of the American football calender like there was no tomorrow... I was just wondering does anyone actually watches this ****e, and enjoy it?
It's good to see that I'm not alone on here regarding my thought on the sport..I just wonder how much they are paying Sky to try and popularise it over here, because it is a non stop barrage of adverts for it at present..
I watch it & once you learn the rules & how its played its alright. I currently work in Baltimore so the whole City is going nuts i guess its there version of a FA Cup final. The things that boils my piss about it is it takes 4 hrs to play a 1 hour game & the yanks who dont like real football try to tell me how can you watch a game that can end up 2-1 & you only see 3 goals. Not realizing that there game can end up 14-7 which is 2-1. Daft ****s.
That's way too condescending for rugby mate. Looking forward to the 6 nations starting on Saturday. Couldn't give one fook about the soup bowl.
Watched it years ago when it was first on telly over here Channel 4 I think had it and, thought I'd try it something new and all that. It lasted from about 10pm until about 4am in the morning FFS, if it wasn't for the never ending stoppages and waffle and timeouts etc. it is a half decent game. Which is greatly enhanced by the cheer leaders as mentioned by the pervs sorry lads earlier in this thread.
Lived in America for a while and still get there often on business...I have tried to watch this so called sport..it just doesn't happen for me. For one thing..why the hell do they call it "Football" weird. Way too stop and start, So after much thought..I think its total Bollocks
Cannot understand the rules or scoring, run 10 feet get brought down, ditto,ditto,ditto. Cricket the same never knew what a 'over' is. Rugby 6 nations i do watch and understand and hope we win this year!.
You could also put Golf into the "pointless sport" section, hit a ball as far as you can and then go walk after the ****er. Repeat this on 18 occasions, taking up your full day.
LOVE IT. I get all my mates round, we hire the strips, get loads of Bud, get a couple of lasses from From your eyes only to dance the cheerleaders way........Aye right, it's fooking BOLLOX.
