Is the transport club at the wheatsheaf or Holmeside or is there 2 ? me and me dad with uncle used to do discos in the mid 1980's the jubilee and workmans' clubs in southwick, both of the above clubs and the pennywell social club ! that was dodgy, the doorman said " got a flick knife? knuckle duster? baseball bat we said no and he said well take yer pick you will need them ! me dad started work at 6 am the next day, but had to pick the gear up in a clapped out transit van at 2 am, he went mad and finished doing the discos that night/morning, but it was a laugh.
