Old 29,The Continental, great pub in back lane behind Joplings I cannot remember name of.

Fusion, Annabels, Mayfair, Boy Meets Girl.

All part of my mid-spent youth.

Starting at the Chester's, down to the Royalty, the Green Man, Dun Cow, Black Bull, Old 29, the Alexandra and last orders in the Brewery Tap, before heading for Fusion or home!

Just another Friday back in the late 70's and 80's.

Billingham, you will be thinking of the Imps… Imperial Vaults down the back lane, bouncing boozer mate.

Is the transport club at the wheatsheaf or Holmeside or is there 2 ? me and me dad with uncle used to do discos in the mid 1980's the jubilee and workmans' clubs in southwick, both of the above clubs and the pennywell social club ! that was dodgy, the doorman said " got a flick knife? knuckle duster? baseball bat we said no and he said well take yer pick you will need them ! me dad started work at 6 am the next day, but had to pick the gear up in a clapped out transit van at 2 am, he went mad and finished doing the discos that night/morning, but it was a laugh. My mother saw Bobby Thompson at the bingo in the early 1980's, how I would have loved to have seen him on stage. in the 1970's me ganny used to get pissed in the central then come to our house, and me mother could not stand drunks !
