It's around this time of year when my mates and I start to second guess the owners/managers/scouts of various clubs and try and predict the summer's moves along with other pieces of random speculation for the next season. This summer also sees the Euros in Poland and Ukraine so this also gives an opportunity to predict a host of various outcomes. So, just for a bit of fun, here are some predictions from the hotbovril stable:

Newcastle's scouting network will come under pressure to replace Cisse and Ba, both of whom have turned far too many heads not to land deals at one of the richest clubs.

Despite guiding Chelsea to the CL final, Di Matteo will be looking for work elsewhere after Mourinho steps back into the fold at Stamford Bridge, bringing the world's most expensive player with him in Ronaldo.

Liverpool will reach an "amicable and mutually agreeable" end to Kenny Dalglish's tenure as manager after poor start to the next campaign.

Germany will lift the Euro trophy and Podolski will claim the Golden Boot.

Rickie Lambert will be the top English scorer in the Premier League next season.

I predict that The Sun and Mirror will start linking Lambert with a move to another club and, annoyingly, it won't be a big club but something like QPR or Norwich as if any club is bigger than us. Excuse me while I shift my chip to the other shoulder.

Klaas Jan Huntelaar of Holland will win the Golden Boot at Euro 2012 with 12 goals, and will sign for Southampton from Schalke with Jason Puncheon and Lee Barnard going the other way. He will relish his new role as backup to the leading Premier League striker Rickie Lambert.

    PL Manager merry-go-round:

Chelsea to axe Di Matteo even if they win the CL and FA cup
Liverpool to sack Kenny. You bastards!

Mourinho to Chelsea from Real Madrid
Appleton to West Brom from Portsmouth
    Rodgers to Liverpool from Swansea

    Di Matteo to Swansea

    Mancini to Real Madrid
Whoever the manager of Bayern Munich is to Man City

What about Capello? I've got a feeling he will land either the Liverpool or Chelsea job!

Who will replace Pep Guardiola at Barcelona? I'm sure there will be a few surprises this summer :)

I think Chelsea and Liverpool will both keep their managers. It's obvious that Di Matteo is the right way to go, and it's just as obvious that Liverpool's problems are not the fault of their manager. Though Capello says he would like to manage in the Premier League, I don't see it happening for him.

Real Madrid and Barcelona to fight it out over Neymar, with the loser perhaps setting their sights on Carlos Tevez or Papiss Cisse. Both Manchester clubs and Chelsea also to make bids for Cisse.

Should Tottenham fail to qualify for the Champions League, those who do will go in for Modric and Bale.

Mario Balotelli to move to AC Milan, because no other big team will want him.

Dimitar Berbatov to Borussia Dortmund, as Lucas Barrios is on his way out. Though it wouldn't be a surprise if Paris Saint-Germain also make a bid.

Also looks like Shinji Kagawa is leaving Dortmund for Manchester United. Perhaps along with Eden Hazard?

If Di Matteo doesn't get the job, Capello will. He's looking for one last big pay-off, he's a big name manager, and Terry and Lampard will see to it.
