    Just heard the news that Bob Hoskins has died aged 71.

    I will never tire of watching him in The Long Good Friday and Mona Lisa

    Is it really over 30 years since 'Pennies from Heaven'? <yikes>

    Loved him in that, and pretty much everything since.

    He was a bit like Michael Cain, he didn't do accents, what you got was the raw Bob Hoskins, but by God you believed he was who he was playing!

    There was Max. Bob Hoskins vs the IRA.

    One other film he was brilliant in was Mrs. Henderson Presents. Him and Judi Dench were brilliant together
