So, Chelsea get a goal that never was! I don't care that they got 5 at 1-0 it was still all to play for. Young cons the ref in the united game! Not that villa under that twat mcleash would have got a result anyway but here's to hoping! Last week I saw Gary Cahill on Motd walk off the field (he was a sub) at half time laughing and joking with mark Halsey! He even rubbed him on the head (4th official) its embarrassing how close these pro refs are to players and the sooner video tech comes in the better for all.

And not just the pro's. I used to chat to all Saturday and Sunday league refs. Keeping them sweet etc. Also used to appeal for everything by shouting "Sir...." before every appeal. Offering them a drink at half-time.

Even at that level, they ****ing love it!

They need more help with things like goal-line stuff and also certain rule changes or simple enforcements by the people above them. There is no rule saying that a defender can do whatever he likes in the penalty area at set pieces but it has become accepted. All the FA have to do is make it a new 'directive' at the start of next season to give penalties every time a defender starts ****ing about at set pieces and it will stop within a few games. It won't be such a safe option for defenders to concede a set piece and the whole game will be made more attacking and exciting. By helping the refs it will allow them to concentrate on the basic common sense decisiosn we actually need them for, the little ones in the middle of the pitch which people assume don't matter but when they start racking up really affect the flow of possession and put teams on the back foot.
