Bizarre when you think that Parker is older than Koren.
One has just( more or less) started is international career whilst one has just ended it.

Some players seem to really blossom in their thirties , it's hardly old is it?

Off topic but we need to get Koren signed up beyond next season.

As it looks likely that Jack Wilshere wont play again this season it makes sense to TRY and get Paul Scholes back even for one tournament. Lets face it there are not that many ahead of him anyway in ability. Good call imo if it does indeed happen. <ok>

Jack Wilshere might be fit in time to play for the GB Olympic team though ? just saying like. :emoticon-0116-evilg

Agreed about Roko, he's such a key player for us now he's being used correctly. I just hope he doesn't get a better offer elsewhere, football being what it is. Now he's retired from internationals we will get even more out of him. As for Scholesy coming back, I can't see how he will manage a lot of consecutive games in a tournament like the Euros unless his time off his rejuvenated him that much, but can't see it.

I very doubt Scholes would come out of international retirement. Capello asked him (although it was at the 11th hour) and he said no. He's only just come out of retirement for his club as well.

    Always liked Scholes though

I think it's a possibility he would consider it, I think he was tempted to come back for the World Cup and we were crying out for somebody of his quality in that tournament, shame he's not fifteen years younger!
