i was told by a rangers fan if they ever got into the epl and won it they could not play in europe due to being scotttish or something like that. same goes for cardiff and swansea? can anyone clear this up for me? taa!!
I don't think it's true, it was confirmed that had Cardiff have won the cup, they would be eligible to play in the Europa League as an English league club. Cardiff and Swansea were trying to see if they could get into the Champions League as Welsh representatives, by dropping out the FA Cup and League Cup and playing in the Welsh Cup instead, but I think it was turned down by UEFA.
